Not all men have the same set of symptoms; and for some men symptoms may occur suddenly, while for others they may develop slowly over time. It should be noted that it is not unusual for the normal erect penis to be slightly curved. Men with normal erections may have a slight curve in their penis causing it to point upward, downward or to either side. It is not however normal for a curvature to develop suddenly or slowly over time.

If you have symptoms that bother you, or if you think you might have Peyronie's disease, the best thing you can do is speak with your doctor.
